Tammy Facciolo, Lab Manager

Tammy began her career in the medical field as an LPN and is a Certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. As a member of the Maze Laboratory Team since 2007, Tammy oversees day-to-day operations of the lab and establishes guidelines to prioritize work production, evaluate effectiveness and improve the quality of services provided. She also manages the implementation of clinical research studies and ensures that all regulatory and IRB documentation is in adherence to the FDA regulations and ICH/GCP guidelines. Responsibilities include study management, daily monitoring of subject’s progress, strict protocol adherence and assisting in development of recruitment and retention strategies.

Sunit Khadge, Lab Supervisor

Sunit received his Bachelors of Arts in Biology from Concordia College, Bronxville, NY and is currently working towards earning an MS in Epidemiology at Columbia University. Sunit has been working at Maze Labs for the past 5 years. He is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all laboratory operations. He supervises a dedicated team of technicians and ensures that all industry standards and safety regulations are followed. Sunit collaborates with Dr. Werner to develop and maintain protocols and procedures. As a point of contact for the FDA and NYSDOH, Sunit regularly communicates with the agencies and ensures that all regulatory requirements are met. Sunit is also involved in the conduction of various clinical trials.


Dr. Werner

Michael A. Werner, M.D., FACS is a board-certified urologist who received his specialized fellowship training in male infertility and surgery and male sexual dysfunction at Boston University Medical Center. He lectures and writes extensively on these topics in medical journals and books.

Dr. Werner completed his Urology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and received his medical school training at the University of California at San Francisco. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard College. Dr. Werner’s private practice is limited to male infertility and male sexual dysfunction.
