Lab Technician

Full-time lab technician needed for an upscale infertility lab, sperm bank and cord blood bank. We are looking for someone thorough, accurate, and exacting as well as personable and comfortable working with patients in a professional and warm environment. Recent grads with BS are welcome to apply but experience is preferred. Past experience in andrology is ideal.

Our laboratories are located in Purchase, NY and Manhattan. You must be able to work a flexible schedule including some Saturdays, and in both locations.

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

Full-time or part-time phlebotomist needed for an upscale fertility & sexual medicine practice. The position involves accompanying patients into exam rooms, drawing their blood, collecting specimens the patients have produced, bringing them to the lab, and performing relatively simple tests, such as bone density and In Body, which we will teach you.

This position should be more enjoyable and varied than a typical phlebotomy position. Also, our staff is compassionate and fun. We are looking for someone who is thorough, accurate, and exacting as well as warm, personable, and comfortable working with patients. You will be assisting the laboratory and the clinicians as well as working with patients on your own.
We have offices in Purchase, NY as well as NYC (3 blocks from Grand Central.) Ideally, you would be able to work in either office as well as have flexible working hours, though you will usually have a set schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draws blood from patients; delivers specimens to Laboratory.
  • Assesses physical condition of the patient during phlebotomy and takes appropriate action; maintains phlebotomy supply levels.
  • Instructs patients regarding collection of blood and urine specimens, and brings specimens to the lab after produced.
  • Identifies and communicates problems to the Supervisor.
  • Restocks lab supplies.
  • Performs operation support duties including, but not limited to rooming patients, prepping, and cleaning exam rooms, performing bone density & In Body testing, and participating in quality assurance and control initiatives.

Job Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 years of technical experience or completion of a phlebotomy course.
